Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and firm standards.
- Direct programming sessions, develop conceptual and schematic designs, and present compelling design solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Select and specify interior finishes, furnishings, materials, and artwork to achieve design intent and performance requirements.
- Oversee the production of detailed interior architectural drawings and documentation, including plans, elevations, and specifications.
- Manage construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, conducting site visits, and preparing punch lists.
- Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and project managers to ensure cohesive design integration and technical accuracy.
- Lead client meetings and presentations, serving as the primary point of contact to maintain communication and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and guide junior design staff, fostering professional development and high-quality design outcomes.
- Support marketing efforts through participation in presentations, proposal development, and client outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited program.
- NCIDQ certification required; LEED AP credential preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in interior design.
- Proficiency in Revit required; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Strong technical and design skills with demonstrated experience across all project phases.
- Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills with the ability to lead client meetings and manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented professional with a commitment to design excellence and client service.
