Senior Intelligence Plans Officer

About the role

Mayvin is seeking a Senior Intelligence Plans Officer to support the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) at McDill AFB in Tampa, FL. The candidate will support the J2 Intelligence Directorate by planning intelligence activities and providing specialized technical, analytical, and operational support to the current operational tempo and strategic decisions of commanders in the CENTCOM AOR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, organization, development, coordination, and execution of intelligence planning activities
• Plan and coordinate ICP production and implementation for multiple stakeholders
• Identify strategic and operational requirements for CCMD military operations. To include but not limited to:
• Collection capabilities
• Organizational structure
• Manpower
• Communication
• Operational logistics requirements
• Identify shortfalls/gaps in intelligence assessments
• Develop courses of action and mitigation strategies
• Able to assess existing/future capabilities to meet operations requirements for military operations
• Able to identify shortfalls/gaps and develop courses of action and mitigation strategies for military operations.
• Conduct studies of intelligence planning programs that are both broad in scope and have frequently undefined limits
• Conduct studies of intelligence planning programs with often undefined scope and limits
• Able to evaluate effectiveness of current programs, and the feasibility of future programs as well as planning and advising on the implementation of new ideas

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and CIP.
