About the role

The Senior Intelligence Mission Trainer is responsible for leading a specialized team in the development, maintenance, and delivery of high-level intelligence training materials. This role serves as a subject matter expert for the Data Capabilities Division (DCD) training activities, ensuring that Army Military Intelligence (MI) personnel and partner organizations are proficient in the systems and services that support the Common Intelligence Picture (CIP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a training team and manage the daily work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence training and curriculum development.
  • Curriculum Development: Draft and formulate training materials, lesson plans, and comprehensive curricula in accordance with TRADOC and Army standards.
  • Instructional Delivery: Deliver the five-day, 40-hour Foundry Course GEN 302 (Intelligence Information Management) and shorter overview sessions on DCD services.
  • Mobile Training Teams (MTT): Lead and participate in MTTs to various customer locations and TDY sites as required.
  • Requirement Identification: Engage with organizations to identify site requirements for training, including classrooms, workstations, and network connectivity.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct and summarize student After Action Reviews (AARs) to identify curriculum deficiencies and update course content accordingly.
  • Records Management: Maintain accurate training records, database entries, and attendance rosters using the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Polygraph eligibility).
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience specifically drafting and formulating training materials or curriculum following TRADOC and Army standards.
  • Proven experience instructing and conducting training for military audiences across multiple geographic locations.
  • Proven experience with reviewing emerging policy and doctrine publications, providing feedback, and assessing for incorporation into training products.
  • Previous experience with developing / maintaining training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of intelligence dissemination, collaboration platforms, and intelligence enterprise tools (e.g., AIDP, M3, ICI).

Special Requirements

  • Mobility: Must be able to travel for OCONUS site support if required; an unrestricted U.S. passport is necessary for such travel.
  • Professional Conduct: Ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse, high-level audiences.
