Senior Integration Engineer

Responsibilities
- Work with data/process/data owners and consumers owners to understand desired application capabilities and be able to explain limitations in non-technical terms
- Focus on building and maintaining the underlying operational aspects of the platform including remediating vulnerabilities
- Monitor platform support Slack channels and address customer questions and issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Workspace features and best practices, implementing updates and improvements as needed
- Continuously improve file storage process, governance, audit, legal & retention practices and standards
- Work within and across lines of business teams to intake, provision, and deploy solutions
- Lead the availability, resilience and scalability of the platform
- Work closely with the Architecture team to align the platforms to latest architecture and configuration
- Encourage innovation, automation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity to a legacy process
- Develop, and utilize best practices to enhance the overall user experience of the platform
- Utilize scripting languages like HTML, Python, SQL, Robo-copy
- Working knowledge of Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
- Collaborate with the Software Engineers to ensure software works seamlessly on the platforms
- Strong experience in application security, logging and monitoring, and auditability of access controls and data security and integrity
- Experience in content management technologies for data classification, data labeling, data encryption, data pipelines and automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication on technical topics and issues
- Integration knowledge and REST api's experience
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience administering Google Workspace or a similar enterprise productivity suite
- Experience with Google GenAI / LLM platforms and other Agentic or SaaS AI capabilities
- 3+ years of experience with AWS and/or GCP
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Pay
- McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Senior Platform Engineer
- New York, NY: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform Engineer
- Plano, TX: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer
- Richmond, VA: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer
