Senior Integration Engineer

General Responsibilities

• Manage Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet, etc.) for our organization
• Provide prompt and effective technical support to users, troubleshooting issues and answering questions
• Maintain system performance, security, and data integrity, taking proactive measures to address potential problems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Workspace features and best practices, implementing updates and improvements as needed
• Develop and maintain clear documentation and training materials for users
• Build and maintain the underlying operational aspects of the platform including remediating vulnerabilities
• Monitor platform support Slack channels and address customer questions and issues
• Lead the availability, resilience and scalability of the platform
• Work closely with the Architecture team to align the platforms to latest architecture and configuration
• Encourage innovation, automation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity to a legacy process
• Develop, and utilize best practices to enhance the overall user experience of the platform
• Utilize scripting languages like Python, Bash, and others. Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
• Collaborate with the Software Engineers to ensure software works seamlessly on the platforms

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)
• At least 2 years of experience with AWS
• At least 1 year of experience administering Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with AWS
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Senior Platform Engineer
New York, NY: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform Engineer
Plano, TX: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer
Richmond, VA: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).

Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
