Senior Insurance Defense Trial Attorney - TX or NM

Job Summary

This is a virtual position handling cases venued throughout the El Paso, TX and Las Cruces/Albuquerque, NM areas. While candidates in the El Paso area are preferred, we are open to candidates statewide who are comfortable traveling to in-person appearances as required. Essential Job Functions

• Manage complex insurance defense litigation cases
• Prepare and present evidence in court
• Conduct discovery and negotiate settlements
• Advise clients on legal strategy
• Represent clients in depositions and hearings

Education Requirements

A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing insurance defense law
• Experience in federal and state courts
• Experience in handling complex litigation

Special Skill Requirement

Excellent oral and written communication skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Qualification

Admitted to practice law in Texas or New Mexico.
