About the role
This role involves leading complex control systems design, development, and coordination for infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed control system specifications, SCADA and network architecture diagrams, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts and review documents for conflicts.
- Supervise control system staff.
- Lead system integration, testing, commissioning, and cybersecurity assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership in instrumentation selection, control panel design, and network security, including cybersecurity risk assessments.
- Engage in client meetings and support proposal development.
- Contribute to industry standards and thought leadership.
- Participate in construction administration, project management, and control system master planning.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in control systems design, programming, and cybersecurity.
- Expertise in automation hardware, HMI software, and industrial networks.
- Project management and team leadership experience.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Relevant certifications in control systems or cybersecurity are ideal.
