About the Role

This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role for a Senior Learning Experience Designer / Instructional Designer who designs and builds in equal measure, excelling in fast-paced, loosely defined problem spaces. You will own complete learning journeys end to end—translating dense FinTech and SaaS product workflows into experiences that feel simple, hold attention, and scale across a global audience. The work spans both net-new builds and reimagined legacy content, leveraging a modern toolkit including branching scenarios, simulations, persona-led microlearning, gamified interactions, and reusable design systems.

You’ll collaborate daily with designers, developers, program managers, SMEs, and product and technical partners, bringing order and creative momentum even when the brief is still forming. Production runs on a structured, AI-assisted workflow with Claude embedded at key points—shaping outlines, drafting content, and populating build files. Work happens in Claude Projects and Claude Cowork with approved prompts, shared context, and version history to ensure continuity. AI outputs are treated as first drafts; your role is to drive judgment, review, and polish.

Responsibilities

  • Build full learning journeys tied to real workflows and performance outcomes
  • Produce storyboards and learning flows that enable smooth, scalable development
  • Rebuild legacy material into visual, learner-first experiences
  • Grow the shared toolkit: design systems, frameworks, prompt libraries, and reusable models
  • Craft interactive facilitator-led and live virtual sessions with participant materials and facilitation guides
  • Develop persona-driven microlearning, simulations, and game mechanics to boost engagement and retention
  • Use Articulate Storyline as the primary build platform, with AI feedback and interactions embedded; design in Rise for rapid, clean development
  • Integrate video, animation, and other media to create cohesive, polished experiences
  • Revise existing templates for improved flow and engagement—nothing ships straight out of the box
  • Maintain compliance, tracking, and QA in Docebo (Learning Management System)
  • Operate within an AI-assisted workflow using Claude, Claude Cowork, Gemini, and NotebookLM to accelerate outlining, drafting, content development, prototyping, file population, and revisions—with human review at every gate
  • Partner with SMEs to align learning with business goals and metrics
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing speed, quality, or deadlines and with minimal oversight
  • Meet SLAs and milestone gates (storyboard → development → QA → sign-off)

Requirements

  • At least 5 years designing and developing instructional content, supported by a portfolio of end-to-end journeys, scenario work, and measurable impact
  • Experience building with generative AI in live production—specifically Claude (including Claude Cowork and Projects), Gemini, and NotebookLM
  • Practical prompting skill: ability to provide models with appropriate source material and context, iterate on outputs, and distinguish near-ready drafts from confidently incorrect ones
  • Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) and 7Taps
  • Fluency with Figma or comparable tool for rapid prototyping and storyboarding
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Audition) for multimedia creation and integration
  • Enough JavaScript and Storyline web object experience to extend course functionality
  • Track record building interactive, facilitator-led and live virtual sessions that are engaging, scalable, and outcomes-driven
  • Reputation for shipping strong work quickly under high volume
  • Skill in simplifying complex systems into performance-changing learning experiences
  • Background designing for customer-facing teams or product training
  • Evidence that your work improves adoption, engagement, and time-to-proficiency (e.g., completion rates, NPS, practical assessment results)
  • Experience creating reusable, scalable content, templates, and frameworks
  • Grounded in learning science: cognitive load, Bloom’s taxonomy, forgetting curve and spaced reinforcement, behavior change and motivation, microlearning and chunking
  • Comfortable working in Agile and fast-paced environments
