Senior Inspector QA/QC
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Promote and continuously reinforce a culture where safety and quality are paramount.
- Aid in developing and implementing quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Maintain and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Suggest and execute process improvements to enhance safety, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain quality documentation, including test procedures and inspection reports.
- Utilize various measuring instruments and equipment to perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
- Accurately document and analyze inspection and test results, identifying deviations from standards.
- Calibrate hand tools such as calipers and micrometers, as well as process equipment such as pressure and temperature gauges.
- Oversee the control and disposition of all non-conforming material, including purchased material.
- Carry out quality audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to procedures.
- Support the analysis of product failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with production staff, engineering teams, and management regarding quality issues and improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality tools and methods.
- Train employees in quality standards, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or vocational training in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role within manufacturing.
- Quality Technician certification (e.g., ASQ CQI or CQT) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with metrology and calibration systems.
- Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) is a plus.
- Experience with quality assurance tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, 8D, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
Qualifications

- Sit and work on a computer for potentially long periods of time.
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and physical presence in production areas.
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Benefits
The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Full-time position.
