Senior QA/QC Inspector
We’re seeking Energy Advisors to support residential home performance programs in Delaware by ensuring high-quality audits, strong contractor performance, and exceptional customer experience. In this role, you’ll apply your residential energy efficiency expertise to review audit quality, verify field work, and help customers and contractors understand program requirements.

You’ll play a key part in maintaining program standards, supporting our contractor network, and delivering meaningful energy-saving outcomes—while enjoying an independent, field-based work environment with something new every day.
Responsibilities
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of residential energy audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Complete field inspections to verify proper installation of energy-saving measures.
- Support contractors with technical guidance and help resolve installation or documentation issues.
- Assist customers by explaining audit results, recommended measures, and available incentives.
- Review audit data and reports to confirm quality and identify improvements.
- Help onboard and monitor contractors to maintain high program standards.
- Work with inspectors, contractors, and internal teams to address issues and confirm corrective actions.
- Provide clear education to customers and contractors on program requirements and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of professional experience.
- BPI (Building Performance Institute) BA-T and BA-P certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass Motor Vehicle Records (MVR).
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
- BPI (Building Performance Institute) QCI certification.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software for energy modeling.
- Familiarity with building science principles and energy efficiency technologies.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of utility energy efficiency programs and weatherization standards.

Pay
This position is anticipated to offer a base salary in the $80,000-99,000 range. Actual compensation may vary based on the candidate’s location, experience, and other relevant factors.
