Senior Innovation Manager
We are the VMS Co-Op, a group of fast-growing companies in the Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS) space. The VMS Co-Op includes OLLY, SmartyPants, and future acquisitions. This position is based at OLLY.
About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Innovation Manager to execute OLLY’s innovation strategy and drive growth for the next decade. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of breakthrough trends, consumer insight, and science/technology. You’ll own the innovation funnel, manage a pipeline of projects, and launch disruptive products in the health, wellness, and beauty space. This role reports to the VP of Brand Strategy & Innovation.
Responsibilities
- Execute the innovation strategy by launching a disruptive innovation funnel for 2027–2030+, including big bets and baseline extensions.
- Manage the pipeline of projects, move them through stage gates, commercialize, and launch innovations year-on-year for national and custom retail partners.
- Deliver innovation that sticks—identify, explore, and drive white-space innovation in partnership with the VP and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to the innovation strategy as a core team member.
- Create innovation and category stories for strategic customers across brick-and-mortar and e-commerce.
- Partner with Brand Strategy, Marketing, Insights, Finance, and eCom to develop innovations that meet business goals.
- Influence the broader Brand team on long-term brand and innovation strategy, identifying key growth accelerators.

Qualifications
- 5–12 years of brand experience in innovation and strategy within the CPG industry.
- Proven track record of creating new markets, categories, and launching disruptive innovation year-on-year.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and adapt quickly to new opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with syndicated data (e.g., IRI Unify).
- Ability to translate data into actionable growth insights.
- Experience working with all customer channels, including e-commerce.
- Proficiency in storytelling via PowerPoint and data analysis in Excel.
- Energy, passion, and a drive to build a transformational brand.
- Leadership skills to develop and mentor teams.
- MBA preferred but not required.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $147,000 to $161,700. Compensation is determined based on geographic location and experience, with the final offer reflecting these factors within the posted range.
