Senior Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform or assist in sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations including USP 797 and USP 800
  • Accurately pick, pack, and process outgoing pharmacy orders in accordance with established procedures and local State Board of Pharmacy
  • Maintain competency related to performing sterile compounding
  • Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including medication and supply ordering, receiving, and maintenance
  • Participate in troubleshooting equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding
  • Participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements
  • Work within a team to triage and respond to all compounding needs promptly
  • Maintain ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
  • Ability to work onsite at 7167 E Kemper Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45249, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift, walk, and lift 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of consistent sterile compounding experience
  • Ability to work independently to solve high-stakes problems
  • Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
  • Ability to lift to 30 pounds
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 to $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
