Primary Responsibilities
- Perform or assist in sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations including USP 797 and USP 800
- Accurately pick, pack, and process outgoing pharmacy orders in accordance with established procedures and local State Board of Pharmacy
- Maintain competency related to performing sterile compounding
- Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including medication and supply ordering, receiving, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding
- Participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements
- Work within a team to triage and respond to all compounding needs promptly
- Maintain ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
- Ability to work onsite at 7167 E Kemper Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45249, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift, walk, and lift 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of consistent sterile compounding experience
- Ability to work independently to solve high-stakes problems
- Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
- Ability to lift to 30 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
