A leading investment firm with over $190 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to enhance its global technology infrastructure. This role will focus on ensuring the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of enterprise systems across multiple offices worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior technical resource and escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, networking, endpoint, and identity-related issues.
  • Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, office technology deployments, security enhancements, platform migrations, and operational improvement projects.
  • Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and knowledge sharing to support analysts, engineers, and other technology team members.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve enterprise infrastructure platforms supporting global operations.
  • Administer and optimize core infrastructure platforms including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, virtualization technologies, enterprise storage, and backup systems.
  • Support and enhance the firm's cloud infrastructure strategy with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Administer identity and access management solutions including Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and authentication services.
  • Support enterprise networking infrastructure including routing, switching, wireless networking, VPN connectivity, SD-WAN, and internet services.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce repetitive administrative tasks.
  • Partner with third-party vendors, consultants, and service providers to support infrastructure operations and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Minimum 3 years leading complex infrastructure projects or serving as a senior technical resource within an enterprise environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, OKTA, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
  • Strong networking expertise across Meraki, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
  • Proficiency using AI-assisted engineering tools to automate workflows, accelerate problem resolution, and improve infrastructure reliability and security.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies including routing, switching, VPNs, wireless networks, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation experience.
  • Experience supporting global offices and distributed workforces.

Pay

Salary: $150,000 – $200,000, plus bonus.
