Senior Infra Risk Prevention (IRP) Technician

About the role
As an Infra Risk Prevention Technician, you'll support utility distribution maintenance in a semiconductor fab environment. You'll respond to leaks, distribution failures, visually monitor systems by walking areas checking for abnormalities, modify and repair systems when needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor distribution systems visually, document abnormalities and execute repair.
- Respond to reported utility outages or out-of-spec conditions, leaks and/or piping failures and execute repairs in coordination with tool owners.
- Membership in the Emergency Response Team (ERT) is required.
- Work on Stainless steel, Polypropylene, CPVC, PVDF piping systems.
- Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Journeyman Pipefitter or equivalent.
- Pipefitting and plumbing, orbital welding, tube bending, site-specific knowledge a plus.
- Tool hook-up experience a plus.
- HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- Semiconductor tool hook-up requirements, cleanroom protocols, industrial utilities (UPW, Scrubber, HVAC).
- Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Schedule
D Shift (night) – Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.
Pay
The current base salary range for this role is between $31.00 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors including organizational and individual performance.
