Primary Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and maintain test fixtures based on requirements provided by Reliability Engineers to meet defined test objectives
- Troubleshoot test system issues and perform repairs or adjustments as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of parts under test and communicate results, concerns, or failures to the responsible engineer
- Support the development and improvement of test methods, lab standards, and documentation
- Support lab organization and safety standards
Qualifications
- Required Education: Associate’s degree or better in a mechanical, electrical, or engineering technician related field
- Required Experience: 3–5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Comfortable using hand tools, gauges, and measurement equipment such as a DMM
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring & PLC I/O
- Able to read and follow technical documentation and test requirements
- Able to read and understand schematics
- Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineers
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office required)
- Familiarity with tools such as SolidWorks Electrical, LabVIEW, or Python is a plus, but not required
