Senior InfoSec Consultant

About the role

The EY Global Information Security team is seeking a skilled security consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of security controls for cloud-based systems. This role involves working closely with client engagement teams and technologists worldwide to support innovative digital practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls for cloud-based systems
• Develop and enforce security protocols for blockchain technologies and applications
• Support agile and DevOps methodologies in the development of secure cloud solutions
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure security measures are integrated into software deployments
• Collaborate with stakeholders from developers to architects to business leaders and clients

Requirements

• Significant working security experience and knowledge in IT system architecture and cloud technology
• Experience with AI, blockchain, quantum computing, cloud security, user account management, audit and logging, and related security standards
• Knowledge of ISO27001/2, OWASP, and relevant regional security standards
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure PAAS services (SQL, Service Bus, Service Fabric, Data Lake, PowerBI)
• Understanding of REST API and microservices architecture
• Experience with open source web technologies and programming languages
• Practical knowledge of implementing global systems using a primarily PaaS and SaaS architecture
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field; CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or similar certifications preferred

Qualifications

• Passion for information security and demonstrated ability to apply knowledge to new technologies
• Experience in operational security, information security standards, cloud security, product management, and other relevant areas

Skills and Attributes

• Hands-on experience with AI security technologies, especially generative AI and large language models
• Experienced in designing and enforcing security protocols for blockchain technologies and applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders

Pay

The base salary range for this role in the US is $128,100 to $239,600, with a higher range for certain locations like New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento).

Schedule

We offer a hybrid model where most people in external, client-serving roles work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
