About the role

Your focus will be on Government System Authority to Operate (ATO) support. You will guide government clients through the ATO certification process and ensure their systems meet stringent security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with government clients to understand their system architectures, security requirements, and ATO objectives.
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses tailored to government system compliance, identifying vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Maintain monitoring of security systems, logs, and network traffic, adhering to government cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Create and implement incident response plans, including containment, eradication, and recovery strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a cybersecurity analyst specializing in Government System ATO support.
  • Deep knowledge of government ATO principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience achieving and maintaining ATO for cloud services and solutions from IL5 to IL6+ on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
  • Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
  • Strong proficiency in incident response, security incident handling, and forensic analysis techniques.
  • Expertise with government-specific ATO assessment tools, vulnerability scanning tools, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • CISSP or equivalent certification for DoD 8140 requirements.

  • Active TS//SCI clearance with CI poly.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000. Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses, company-paid training/certifications, referral bonuses, and flexible work arrangements.
