About the Team

The CPG Ad Sales Team is responsible for the marketing vision, development, and growth of our advertising partnerships. This team is rapidly growing, and is seeking additional team members to build an industry-leading ads and promotions business across DoorDash’s CPG offerings. The growing DoorDash ads business has quickly become the single best place for merchants and brands to market to local customers, in an ecosystem that benefits all parties.

About the Role

As the Senior Industry Manager, CPG, you will lead a team of Industry Managers who oversee Account Executives, and Post Sales Managers to build partnerships that create tangible value for both advertisers and DoorDash. In this role, you will manage the entire ads strategy across the Enterprise CPG business (includes subcategories of personal care, household, sweets, snacks, pantry, fresh, frozen), and drive adoption of our growing ads and promotions offering. You will work cross-functionally with strategy, operations, marketing, analytics, and product, to innovate on our future approach and solutions. You will report into the Head of CPG Advertising Sales, in our Sales & Business Development organization.

We’re Excited About You Because...

  • You have a minimum of 8+ years managing a sales team effectively and leading team performance management to meet and exceed goals. Overall Industry Experience 15+ years
  • You are a consultative seller with significant experience in digital media or adjacent performance oriented industries
  • You have built scaled Enterprise Ads businesses for CPG clients in the past
  • You’re an expert in using data and insights to inform recommendations, rooted in advertiser objectives and business priorities
  • You have a firm understanding of digital technologies within the marketing/media mix, and are savvy with digital advertising measurements from attribution to funnel metrics
  • You have strong written/verbal communication and presentations skills, and experience operating across several levels of an organization
  • You hire and recruit top and diverse talent to drive outsized impact on the business and contribute to DoorDash’s culture
  • You have experience working directly with CPG advertisers or similar

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location. In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission.
