About the role

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) at our Ypsilanti, Michigan location. The CPSO will report to the Security Manager while providing classified program support on a multitude of levels. Working in unison with other CPSOs, you will be responsible for the classified operations of programs in the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Department of Defense Special Access Programs (DoD SAP), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) arenas.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives.
  • Provide security guidance regarding program operations.
  • Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and addendums, Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc.
  • Create, update, and administer security education, training, and awareness to include program indoctrinations and debriefings.
  • Conduct self-inspections and recommend/implement corrective actions.
  • Perform program administrative work: personnel processing, visitor control, conducting program-related investigations, TS accountability, dispatching and receiving program documents/material, and resolving other related program security issues.
  • Create and present presentations for program status and reviews (internal and external).
  • Manage special access program facility administration in accordance with DODM 5205.07 Vol 1-4, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 related to the physical security and construction requirements for SAPFs and SCIFs; submit pre-construction and accreditation packages to include Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and TEMPEST assessments.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required as this position requires an Active Top Secret/SCI eligibility.
  • U.S. Security Clearance as of Day One of Employment.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision and the ability to multitask.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through when completing tasks.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives.
  • Ability to develop and implement solutions to a variety of complex problems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Willing to work extended hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a professional image.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all accesses as required by the programs.
  • Experience in developing Program Protection Plans (PPP) and OPSEC Plans.
  • Experience with physical construction of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs); ICD-705 knowledge.
  • Database management with DISS, Scattered Castles, and JADE.

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is $71,800 - $150,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

Schedule

  • Full time.
  • Up to 10% travel required (local).
