Position Summary

The Senior Maintenance Technician leads advanced maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient operations. This role serves as a technical expert in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, while mentoring team members and driving equipment reliability improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment
  • Diagnose issues using PLCs, CNC controls, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Support installation, testing, and validation of new equipment
  • Maintain facility systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, structural)
  • Perform machine adjustments (sensors, interlocks, control systems)
  • Document work and manage equipment history in CMMS
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with LOTO, Arc Flash, and safety standards
  • Train and mentor maintenance technicians
  • Support capital projects and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read schematics, ladder logic, and blueprints
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and machine controls
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred

  • CMMS experience
  • Leverage of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, root cause analysis)
  • Experience with equipment installation and capital projects

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in industrial environments, including climbing ladders and lifting equipment as needed.
