At Gildan, our Industrial Engineering team is at the center of optimizing a 1.2 million-square-foot distribution operation supporting our wholesale business. About the role

We're looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, working with data, and collaborating across teams. This position is being hired as a senior-level engineer who will also serve as a mentor to a developing engineer on the team, bringing both technical expertise and professional maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize labor standards and operational performance using Manhattan WMS, Labor Management (LM), and reporting tools.
  • Analyze warehouse data and recommend process improvements that improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Build and enhance reports using Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint to communicate operational insights.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.
  • Support warehouse slotting, sequencing, SKU placement, replenishment strategies, and operational planning.
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, IT, Finance, and Distribution teams to solve business challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource and mentor within the Industrial Engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 3–4+ years of Industrial Engineering experience.
  • Experience in a distribution center, warehouse, logistics, or large operational environment.
  • Strong experience with labor management, reporting, data analysis, and warehouse management systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros and data visualization.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple departments.

Qualifications

  • Lean or Continuous Improvement experience is preferred.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus, but training is available.
