Responsibilities
- Analyze machining and assembly processes to design the best method of manufacture to safely produce a quality product on time.
- Collaborate with teams in quality, operations, materials, and development departments for resolution of issues and root cause analysis.
- Maintain labor routings and operator worker allocations.
- Plan work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
- Perform work measurements as needed supporting operations to improve health, safety, and performance of staff.
- Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
- Prepare and present charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology and 5 years of industrial engineering experience, or 9 years of industrial engineering experience.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Excellent knowledge in routing design and related transaction codes within SAP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical ability where problems are very complex.
- Excellent knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Excellent knowledge of Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Toyota Production System (or equivalent) concepts.
- SAP experience.
Work Conditions
- Daily work is performed in an office and general manufacturing work environment.
- Traditional work schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Regularly required to operate a computer inside the facility.
Pay
$98,566 - $160,169 annually.
