Senior Implementation Specialist
About the role
As a Senior Implementation Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert in FactSet’s products, deploying them through high-value projects and engagements. Your primary focus will be ensuring clients are set up to maximize the value of their FactSet subscriptions by handling data integration, module configuration, report building, user training, and support during implementation. This role involves project-based work, including implementations, solutions optimization, and complex engagements, with opportunities to mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Produce client-facing communication in coordination with the implementation project manager.
- Build and manage implementation scope and effort estimates.
- Provide product (functional and technical) guidance on solutioning processes based on customer needs.
- Create user workflow specifications, custom report specifications, and establish priority and direction for technical integration staff on client requirements.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of the Analytics suite.
- Implement new and enhance existing deployments to improve user experience and enable sales opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industry.
- Identify growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunities during implementation.
- Share emerging trends, best practices, and areas for improvement.
- Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet’s products.
- Provide user training and support the development of training programs.
- Facilitate the transition from the implementation phase to support.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working with FactSet’s Analytics tools.
- Strong technical background with proven proficiency in writing complex screening codes.
- Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products.
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
- Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership.
- Willingness to travel.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Qualifications
- CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications (preferred).

Pay
The budgeted salary range for this position is $92,000–$110,000 in New York City, Connecticut, and California, and $92,000–$110,000 CAD in Toronto. The range may differ in other locations or countries.
