Serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, you will guide clients through complex implementations while balancing business priorities, technical requirements, organizational readiness, and client expectations. You will lead highly visible client engagements, facilitate strategic discussions, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment across multiple business and technical workstreams. This role requires someone who can operate at both the strategic and execution levels. Your ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, anticipate risks, and drive accountability will directly impact client satisfaction, project success, product adoption, and long-term partnerships. What are we looking for in this position?
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Healthcare, IT, or similar).
- 7-10+ years of experience in project and program management roles within the healthcare, SaaS, or technology consulting sectors, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-level implementations.
- Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional project teams in a client-facing capacity, with a focus on complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple high-stakes projects and clients simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize competing demands in dynamic environments.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build credibility and manage executive-level relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong organizational acumen with experience managing large, cross-functional teams and coordinating across multiple business units.
- Deep understanding of SaaS ecosystems, technical integrations (EDI, APIs), and platform deployment best practices.
- Highly analytical and strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
- Comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous or fast-changing environments, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
- Proficient in enterprise project management tools and reporting dashboards.
- Experience with B2B SaaS implementations in the healthcare industry.
- Experience with healthcare insurance-related technology such as claims administration platforms, portals, and/or analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations, claims processing systems, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and be resourceful when confronted with ambiguity.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications.
What will you be doing?
- Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise implementation engagements from project initiation through go-live and transition to support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and executive sponsors, helping guide strategic decisions throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, transparency, and delivery excellence.
- Facilitate executive steering committees, project governance meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
- Project & Program Management:
- Lead complex SaaS platform implementations involving cross-functional teams, technical integrations, operational workflows, and organizational change.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation roadmaps.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project performance and communicate status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive accountability across all project participants to ensure successful execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Integration, Client Services, Configuration, and Support teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Coordinate technical workstreams involving APIs, EDI transactions, data integrations, and system configuration.
- Align internal teams around project priorities and client objectives.
- Escalate issues appropriately while facilitating timely resolution.
- Risk Management & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify implementation risks, obstacles, and dependencies early and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support organizational readiness and change management efforts to promote successful adoption of VBA solutions.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance implementation quality, scalability, efficiency, and client experience.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of implementation standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Other Duties as Assigned:
- Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel to client sites.
