Senior Impact Researcher
About the role
The Senior Impact Researcher will lead the organization’s evaluation and impact research agenda, overseeing the design and execution of impact and efficacy studies that assess the effectiveness of its constructive dialogue programs in higher education. The position involves conducting rigorous evaluations using approaches such as pre-post studies, quasi-experimental designs, and randomized controlled trials; developing and validating assessment measures; and building reproducible analytical workflows that support high-quality, evidence-based research. Additionally, the role includes translating findings for diverse audiences, including university partners, funders, practitioners, and the public, while collaborating across research, product, education, and growth teams to inform program improvement and contribute to the broader fields of dialogue education and bridge-building.
Responsibilities
- Lead the organization’s evaluation and impact research agenda
- Oversee the design and execution of impact and efficacy studies
- Conduct rigorous evaluations using approaches such as pre-post studies, quasi-experimental designs, and randomized controlled trials

Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, sociology, education, public policy)
- Experience in designing and conducting rigorous evaluations
- Strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Ability to develop and validate assessment measures
- Experience in building reproducible analytical workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in higher education settings preferred
Qualifications
- Expertise in evaluating educational interventions
- Experience with mixed-methods research
- Knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Experience with qualitative data collection and analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
- Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually
