Senior Immigration Consultant

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serves as a tactical liaison between clients, HR representatives, and internal teams, providing updates on case progress, timelines, reporting, and coordination needs.
  • Supports the development and creation of program protocols and supports the training roll out.
  • Responds to escalations and recurring client concerns with professionalism and urgency.
  • Facilitates onboarding and ongoing training for Immigration Consultant team members on workflows, delivery standards, and system updates.
  • Demonstrates autonomy in managing standard workflows and applies judgment in identifying and escalating exceptions.
  • Anticipates potential issues and supports proactive resolution to maintain program stability.
  • Contributes to current-state program management by maintaining structure, visibility, and responsiveness across all touchpoints.
  • Supports reporting needs for small to mid-sized immigration programs in collaboration with attorneys.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for routine client communications, ensuring timely and professional responses to inquiries and updates.
  • Manages case production including initiating, assessing, preparing, assembling, and filing high-volume immigration filings using established templates and proprietary tools.
  • Performs administrative duties including scanning, filing, and document management for complex immigration petitions.
  • Maintains accurate and complete case records, ensuring data integrity and responsiveness to client and attorney requests.
  • Utilizes reports and dashboards to prioritize high volumes of work effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Conducts and supports case assessments and gathers required documentation from clients, including forms, supporting evidence, and biographical information.
  • Drafts immigration forms and support letters for a broad set of case types, including H‑1B, TN, L‑1, I‑140, AOS, PERM, and complex writing projects.
  • Captors with government agencies (e.g., USCIS, DOL, DOS) to track case status, respond to RFEs, and monitor deadlines.
  • Ensures compliance and updates internal procedures as needed following changes to immigration law and policy.
  • Participates in internal training programs and contributes to process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

  • Case Accuracy & Compliance: Produces accurate, compliant, and timely casework across complex, high-volume immigration filings.
  • Client Program Coordination: Supports client-specific program processes and ensures alignment across legal delivery teams.
  • Coaching & Quality Support: Provides real-time feedback, guidance, and workflow support to Immigration Consultant team members.
  • Issue Identification & Escalation: Recognizes recurring problems and communicates potential solutions proactively to attorneys and legal support leadership.
  • Subject Matter Mastery: Demonstrates advanced knowledge of primary product areas including H‑1B, TN, L‑1, I‑140, AOS, PERM, and complex RFEs, with foundational paralegal knowledge of NIWs, O‑1s, and other lower-volume case types.
  • Client Communication: Maintains clear, professional, and timely communication with clients and HR partners.
  • Time & Workflow Management: Prioritizes competing deadlines using reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Team Collaboration: Works effectively across teams to support consistent program delivery and case outcomes.
  • Professional Judgment: Applies discretion and sound judgment in handling exceptions and identifying when to escalate.
  • Process Adherence: Follows established workflows and supports continuous improvement efforts.
