About the role

We are seeking a Senior ICT (Information & Communication Technology)/Security BIM Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and professional design documents, collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams, and ensuring customer needs are met through 3D models using Revit or similar software.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently to deliver accurate and professional design documents.
  • Show design intent and assist with system-related activities within all construction administration (CA) activities.
  • Coordinate with integrated, multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional requirements, system designs, and other project-related requirements.
  • Avoid conflicts between ICT/Security scopes and other disciplines during de-clash exercises in Revit.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, and deliver products on schedule.
  • Desire to progress into a designer role.
  • BICSI RCDD, DCDC, OSP, or RTPM certification.
  • PSP (Physical Security Professional) certification.
  • Experience with Data Centers and Federal Entities.
  • A “can-do” attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in Revit and learn new applications quickly.
  • Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
  • Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
  • Advanced skillset of 3D coordination tools.
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits.
  • Leadership and mentoring skillsets.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years related industry experience.
  • Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
  • Advanced skillset of 3D coordination tools.
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
  • Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits.
  • Leadership and mentoring skillsets.
