Senior Hybrid Cloud Engineer (Azure/Windows)
About the role
This role requires providing advanced Tier 3 technical infrastructure, DevOps, and engineering support for complex issues escalated from other support and technical service teams. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance to ensure uptime, reliability, and compliance with SLAs. Serving as an escalation point for Azure implementation-related challenges. Contributing to documentation, automation scripts, and internal knowledge sharing for continuous improvement. Engaging in special projects and performing other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced Tier 3 technical infrastructure, DevOps and engineering support for complex issues escalated from other support and technical service teams.
- Maintain and optimize system performance to ensure uptime, reliability, and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Serve as an escalation point for Azure implementation-related challenges.
- Participate in new feature development from an implementation perspective, working closely with leadership and occasionally product and engineering teams.
- Contribute to documentation, automation scripts, and internal knowledge sharing for continuous improvement.
- Engage in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 8+ years of cloud engineering experience, with at least 4 years working in Azure environments.
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Functions, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- In-depth understanding of Windows administration, hyperconverged technologies, networking, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Skilled in building infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Thorough knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities in cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, and performance tuning.
- Experience supporting Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience leading and mentoring staff and technical support teams.
- Experience with production readiness review processes.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The work model is hybrid, combining remote and in-office work.
