Overview Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior HR Generalist to join our team at our Columbus, Ohio location. In this role, you’ll work closely with team members at every level of the business to support a variety of HR functions like employee relations, performance, benefits, compliance, and leave administration. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong analytical skills. This full-time role is based on-site at our Columbus, OH headquarters and requires reliable local transportation for occasional travel to nearby facilities. Remote work is not available. Position Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor for managers and team members on a variety of company and HR policies and proceduresHandle complex employee relations issues, conducting investigations, recommending resolutions, and conducting terminations/counseling if necessaryMaintain employment records, including personal identification, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications in Workday, Google Spreadsheets, and other systemsCompile and analyze reports pertaining to a variety of personnel activities, including retention, absenteeism, training, etcSupport recruiting and staffing, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new team membersProvide assistance in administering employee benefit programsWork with Legal and/or outside counsel to coordinate work sponsorship applicationsProcess leave administration, requests for accommodation, and case management for FMLA, Military Leave, ADA, Worker’s Compensation, etcAid in continuous improvement efforts within HR and HR Tech Position Requirements 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources; preferably in a manufacturing settingBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field requiredSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferredValid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for local travel between Columbus-area sitesHighest level of confidentiality and professionalismHigh level of proficiency in Google or Excel Spreadsheets, and Workday or similar HRIS systems requiredStrong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Worker’s Compensation, etcAbility to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh emotional intelligence with strong problem-solving capabilities By applying to Rogue, regardless of the platform you choose to use, you are agreeing to Rogue's preferred methods of communication (i.e. text message).
