Senior Human Resources Business Partner (On-site)
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders, vendors, community organizations, and internal teams to drive consistent, credible, and results-oriented HR support.
- Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of human resources and employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
- Actively contribute to performance management, employee development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives, translating strategy into actionable outcomes.
- Maintain all Department of Labor unemployment notices and potential charges; prepare and coach operational leaders for hearings and represent the company as needed.
- Ensure all employee I-9 documentation is accurate and up to date, maintaining full compliance with federal regulations and readiness for audits.
- Collaborate with HR staff to facilitate smooth employee orientation, onboarding, and separation processes.
- Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of employee misconduct or policy violations, including cases that may result in disciplinary action or termination.
- Advise and support operational management through the disciplinary and termination process, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Facilitate performance review process for the company.
- Facilitate reasonable accommodation requests from employees.
- Coordinate and support company-sponsored charitable initiatives, wellness programs, and employee engagement activities.
- Coordinate and communicate non-traditional benefits.
- Handle employee issues and concerns, serve as back-up to the “We Listen” hotline.
- Assist HR leadership in responding to pending litigation involving the company, including coordination with legal counsel.
- Collaborate with internal or external legal advisors as needed to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, compensation practices, and employee development.
- An advanced understanding of HR principles, policies, and procedures, including performance management, conflict resolution, and organizational development.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and other compliance-related procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, for documentation, reporting, and analysis.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to consult with and influence business leaders, providing strategic HR guidance and support.
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities, accept and apply constructive feedback, and remain flexible in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Capable of making sound decisions within established policies and procedures, balancing risk and business needs.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability; able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable engaging with all levels of the organization while maintaining a polished and professional demeanor.

Compensation
Compensation Range: $64,800 - $121,500 annually. Actual compensation may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including qualifications, skills and experience.
