Senior HSE Specialist

Overview

The Senior HSE Specialist - General Industry position at Safety Management Group (SMG) in Aiken, SC, is a contract role lasting 6-9 months. Requirements

• 7+ years of previous General Industry Safety experience
• Bachelor's degree in safety or related fields preferred
• 2+ years in leadership and management roles with HSE
• BCSP Certifications: CSP, CHST (preferred)
• Deep understanding of OSHA related rules & regulations
• Experience with safety program development
• Technical construction understanding
• Demonstrated safety leadership skills
• Ability to engage professionally with clients and contractors

Qualifications

• Physical demands may include moving about long distances, ascending/descending stairs and ladders, remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period, working in extreme weather, being exposed to loud noises, and wearing personal protective gear correctly.
