About the Role

The client is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst with deep techno-functional expertise in UKG Pro Timekeeping to lead system configuration, workflow design, reporting, integrations, and continuous process improvements. This role partners with business stakeholders to optimize workforce management, timekeeping, scheduling, and payroll operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide techno-functional expertise to analyze, design, configure, test, debug, and implement new features, workflows, or extensions within UKG Pro Timekeeping.
  • Configure and manage employee profiles, pay rules, accrual profiles, and other UKG Pro settings.
  • Create and maintain UKG workflows, configurations, and reporting to align with HRIS/WFM and organizational objectives.
  • Monitor recurring data feeds between timekeeping and other systems, ensuring planned enhancements are tested and implemented.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to the product roadmap.
  • Design and generate reports, analytics, metrics, and dashboards to support HR decision-making and measure key workforce trends.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies regarding data handling and reporting.
  • Analyze and document current WFM, HR, Timekeeping, and Scheduling functionality.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and training materials for UKG Pro timekeeping processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of WFM/HRIS processes, including implementing new technologies to enhance employee and customer experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize functionalities by migrating external systems into UKG Pro Timekeeping.
  • Coordinate with other business areas on new initiatives and WFM/HRIS opportunities related to UKG.
  • Work with vendors on recurring and project-based WFM systems work.
  • Train team members and end-users on system functionalities.
  • Mentor, coach, and train other HRIS team members on UKG Pro.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in timekeeping and workforce management.
  • Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in HRIS and Workforce Management (WFM), including Human Capital Management (HCM).
  • Experience and prior training with UKG Pro Timekeeping, including at least one full implementation of UKG Pro Timekeeping and integration with Scheduling and Workday or UKG Pro Payroll.
  • Experience designing, creating, and modifying UKG Pro business processes.
  • Ability to create complex reports using UKG Pro timekeeping reporting tools and/or UKG Pro WFM Data Hub.
  • Familiarity with UKG Scheduling is highly desirable.
  • Good working experience with the UKG Pro security model.
  • Functional and techno-functional subject matter expertise in UKG Timekeeping, Workday Payroll, and Zebra Scheduling is a plus.
  • Exposure to TOGAF and BOST methodology is beneficial.
  • Experience developing test automation using Selenium or similar tools is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings.
  • Strong understanding of multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Adaptability to changing requirements and a willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect, and upholding company values.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. An advanced degree is beneficial.
