Responsibilities
- Act as the primary support for the Workday Talent & Performance module, managing configuration, driving enhancements, and ensuring ongoing optimization of system functionality.
- Provide global support for all HRIS applications.
- Initiate, lead, and implement HRIS projects of medium to large scope and impact to assigned HR function(s).
- Collaborate with other departments to proactively identify needs for enhancements/modifications, document business requirements, and create project plans for the implementation of enhancements and solutions.
- Support modifications and serve as a change agent to assist in promoting new designs.
- Identify areas for improvement in both the processes and systems; continuously research new system functionality/trends and HR best practices.
- Develop, document, and implement global procedures that provide consistent processes; create user guides and checklists for functional practitioners.
- Participate in the testing and implementation of all system upgrades and rollouts of new features; coordinate all user testing and parallel run activities.
- Train practitioners, managers, and employees on HRIS functionality.
- Participate in project management activities, including work planning and issue tracking.
- Monitor interactions/interfaces with both internal and outsourced systems; address error logs.
- Provide technical support for interface integrations between HRIS applications and various third-party applications.
- Serve as help desk for HRIS requests.
- Raise Service Requests via vendor support organizations to obtain solutions to application problems.
- Manage HR data requests; assemble, analyze, and format data into usable reports.
- Develop data integrity protocols for all HRIS applications; audit HR data to ensure compliance and data integrity; detect, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues; support efforts to maintain accurate master data.
- Define and enforce standard HRIS functionality to be delivered across the organization; manage change control for deviations; advise business functions on design and utilization of existing applications.
- Assist with other HR projects, both within HRIS and in the various HR functional areas.
- Serve as partner to all HR functional areas and liaise with other business functions.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources, or Information Technology; Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, working with HRIS, web-based applicant tracking systems, enterprise reporting platforms, and/or related systems, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Experience with Workday Talent & Performance module preferred.
- Detailed understanding of integration strategy; practice in the development and day-to-day support of vendor interfaces.
- Previous participation in a multi-site HRIS conversion/implementation; experience in all phases of the software development life cycle: requirements gathering, designing, building, testing, training, go-live, and post-production support.
