Senior HR Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level military personnel support for officer and enlisted personnel actions.
• Process and track evaluations, awards, decorations, fitness reports, assignment actions, and personnel record updates.
• Support in-processing, out-processing, PCS coordination, readiness tracking, and duty status reporting.
• Maintain personnel trackers, suspense systems, and organizational manning reports.
• Cook up scheduling, meetings, task tracking, and leadership reporting activities.
• Prepare executive correspondence, memoranda, reports, and briefing materials.
• Cook up coordination with military personnel centers, servicing organizations, and external mission partners.
• Maintain records management compliance for military personnel documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, Department of the Air Force, and U.S. Space Force guidance.
• Support process improvement initiatives focused on workflow efficiency and accountability.
• Handle sensitive personnel and operational information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting military personnel administration or related DoD personnel operations.
• Experience supporting DoD, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, or joint military organizations.
• Familiarity with military personnel processes, evaluations, awards, readiness reporting, and administrative workflows.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, communication, and task management skills.
• Ability to report to designated work location in El Segundo, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Space Force or national security space organizations.
• Experience supporting senior military leadership or headquarters staff environments.
• Familiarity with military personnel systems and records management processes.

Pay

Pay Transparency Range: 120k - 165k
California, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $120,000.00/Yr. - USD $165,000.00/Yr.
