As a profitable startup experiencing rapid growth and preparing for an IPO, it addresses challenges in scaling operations and innovating within a complex employee structure that includes independent operator partnerships. 2. About the Opportunity:The Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for managing a complex employee relations landscape for W2 employees embedded within independent operator partnerships. This role supports business leaders and owners in navigating people practices, while also leading a functional area within the enterprise People Operations Center of Excellence. It contributes by ensuring effective HR guidance, risk management, and the deployment of people-management programs that promote engagement and performance. 3. Responsibilities:Serve as primary HR contact for W2 employees in assigned real estate teamsManage and resolve complex employee relations issues with thorough investigationsDesign and implement people-management tools and processesCoach team owners on policies, employment law, and people practicesPartner with Legal on matters related to operator partnerships and co-employment riskEstablish clear escalation protocols for HR issuesCoordinate onboarding support for new team employeesConduct orientation sessions for new team owners on HR policies and employer responsibilitiesSupport onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, and employee changesCoach leaders on performance and disciplinary conversationsAssist VP of HR with policy interpretation and updatesAnalyze employee relations trends to identify and mitigate risksLead a Center of Excellence functional area such as Engagement or Performance Management & Rewards 4. Requirements:7+ years of progressive HR experience with focus on employee relationsExperience supporting franchise, agency, or distributed workforce models preferredStrong knowledge of employment law and co-employment riskAbility to influence without direct authorityExperience leading onboarding and orientationTrack record coaching leaders and managing conflictExperience building or governing Center of Excellence programsStrong analytical and communication skillsPHR, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferredFamiliarity with HRIS, engagement survey platforms, and reporting systems (ADP experience a plus) 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 per year based on experience 6.
