About The Role
We are seeking an HR Business Partner to support Suzano Packaging USA's industrial operations. This role involves acting as a strategic partner to leadership while maintaining a strong day-to-day presence with operational teams on the plant floor. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting leaders and operational teams, serving as a close and accessible point of contact in day-to-day activities.
- Navigating different scenarios with strong communication and analytical skills, focusing on practical solutions aligned with the industrial environment.
- Connecting business needs with the People & Culture strategy to help drive company results.
- Managing the people budget and ensuring the execution of performance, development, and succession cycles.
- Monitoring and managing strategic HR metrics and indicators.
- Facilitating presentations and training sessions on People & Culture topics.
- Partnering with the Talent Development team to design solutions and identify opportunities for talent growth.
- Holding regular alignment meetings with leaders to support workforce planning, development, succession, internal mobility, engagement, change management, conflict management, retention, and offboarding processes.
- Interfaceing with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment, execution, continuity, and standardization of People & Culture initiatives.
- Contributing to the management of the site’s Collective Bargaining Agreement clauses together with the Labor Relations team.
What You’re Going To Do

What We Expect From You
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- PREFERRED: Experience as an HR Business Partner supporting industrial or manufacturing operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strategic mindset and understanding of common industrial challenges, such as managing shift teams, workplace safety, productivity, and organizational climate.
- Availability to work on-site at the Pine Bluff industrial mill, ensuring close partnership with operational teams.
