Senior HR Business Partner

Function

Serves as a senior strategic partner, helping align business objectives with employees and management within designated business units to achieve their strategic departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains necessary human resource knowledge and demonstrates understanding of Employee Services procedures, programs, and special initiatives.
• Advises hiring managers on the recruitment process, including intake strategy, applicant sourcing, interviewing guidance, and HR resources.
• Evaluates employment applications and resumes, conducts interviews, prescreens applicants, and extends offers.
• Generates job offer letters and new hire packages, attends job fairs, and collaborates with line business leaders.
• Collaborates with line business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, providing insights and advice on people-related processes.
• Supports managers in performance reviews, setting objectives, and identifying development opportunities.
• Conducts employee investigations and leads employee separation discussions.
• Develops and enforces HR policies, analyzes HR metrics, and supports decision-making.
• Partners with leadership to implement initiatives that drive engagement and foster a high-performance culture.
• Leverages HRIS to streamline workload and enhance employee services.
• Strategizes with line of business for process re-alignment and succession planning.

Requirements

• Requires a four-year degree or equivalent in a business-related field.
• Certification required (SHRM-CP or HRCI certification).
• Ten plus years general experience with a minimum of 5 years specialized experience in HR or Recruitment.

Qualifications

• Operates a keypad device 80-90% of the day.
• Operates office equipment 10-20% of the day.
• Traveling to alternate work locations 20-30% and overnight stays required 20-30%.
• Routinely lifts up to 30 lbs. per day.

• Salary range: $55,000.00 - $156,450.00
