About the Role

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will drive strategic HR initiatives across the organization and within their assigned business units. This role partners with HR leads to ensure effective execution of processes and recommends improvements to policies and procedures. The Senior HRBP will mentor the HRBP team and contribute to their training and development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders to identify strategic HR solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Lead multiple organizational initiatives and collaborate with leadership on implementation.
  • Partner with mid-level management and senior executives to develop and implement HR policies and practices that support business growth.
  • Provide leadership on pay-for-performance, workforce planning, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with leadership and employees to advise on employee-related and organizational matters.
  • Assess current HR processes to identify opportunities for improvement or modification.
  • Lead the Annual Review and Calibration Process, including form revisions, scoring updates, and Workday configuration.
  • Lead the Succession Planning process and 9-Box evaluation for the organization.
  • Ensure consistency in the execution of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Proactively engage with leaders on people strategy, including workforce planning, organization design, and structure.
  • Conduct and facilitate training for managers and employees on performance management, new manager training, and culture training.
  • Provide counsel and direction on employee relations cases, including performance issues, terminations, sexual harassment, and discrimination, while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Coach and collaborate with HRBPs to resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Track employee relations cases to identify trends.
  • Analyze quarterly attrition and exit data trends in partnership with the HR team to recommend solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Report metrics and data analysis to HR leadership and recommend enhancements as needed.
  • Design and deliver talent planning activities to identify talent, leadership development priorities, and succession plans.
  • Coordinate with all areas of HR (Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management) to ensure business needs are met.
  • Partner with HR leads to drive process improvements.
  • Educate business leaders on new HR initiatives and programs.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to identify root causes of attrition and develop solutions to reduce organizational turnover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8-10 years of related HR experience.
  • 3-4 years of leadership experience.
