About the Role
Achieve is seeking an experienced, strategically minded and AI agile Sr. HR Business Partner to join our team. As the Sr. HR Business Partner for a designated client group within Achieve, you will serve as the dedicated strategic talent champion. Operating in close partnership with the HR Strategic Talent Leader, you will align talent strategies directly with executive priorities, helping these specialized functions scale efficiently and maintain high-performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a strategic talent connector for the assigned client group in partnership with the HR Strategic Talent Leader. Partner with Director-and-above leaders to bridge the gap between business strategy and human potential, translating executive priorities into workforce plans that drive scalability and high-performance outcomes.
- Assess/Reward/Develop/Engage Programmatic Implementation: Champion the Assess/Reward/Develop/Engage framework (known internally as project ARDEvark) within your assigned client group. Embed this strategy into the cultural fabric, guiding teams through an integrated evolution of assessment, rewards, development, and engagement that sets the standard for the organization.
- Organizational Design: Design for impact. Challenge the status quo by providing expert counsel on team structures, role clarity, and workforce optimization, ensuring teams are built for agility, growth, and long-term operational success.
- High-Performance Coaching: Cultivate leadership excellence. Advise and challenge leaders to build robust talent pipelines and clear career architectures. Focus on the human side of specialized roles—driving deep engagement and ensuring subject matter experts have the path to reach their full potential.
- Pod Collaboration: Operate at the strategic tier. Seamlessly leverage the HR Representative & Leaves Pod to manage tactical operations, maintaining a rigorous focus on forward-looking initiatives. Ensure your capacity is dedicated to solving complex organizational challenges rather than administrative maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
Background & Academic Foundation:
- Minimum of ten years of increasing HR responsibility, ideally supporting a wide variety of organizations (sales, operations, shared services) within a high-velocity organizational setting.
- Demonstrated capacity to pivot from administrative execution to a high-impact advisory role, leveraging pod-based operational support to maintain a rigorous focus on talent strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced professional certifications such as PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP are highly regarded.
Key Competencies
- Business Acumen: Financial acumen to understand how Achieve makes money. Translate business strategies into actionable workforce plans, ensuring every talent decision positively impacts the P&L and aligns with broader organizational goals.
- Strategic Consulting: Trusted advisor, not just a problem solver. Employ proactive project management and sharp risk mitigation to navigate complex organizational challenges, providing clarity to leadership where others see chaos.
- Relationship Management: Build deep, collaborative networks across functions. Wield influence with empathy and possess the fortitude to stand firm on critical precedents, ensuring risk mitigation without sacrificing the trusted relationships that drive our culture.
- Data Judgement: 'People Scientist' who goes beyond surface-level metrics. Interpret complex data to tell compelling stories, diagnosing the 'why' behind attrition or performance trends to shape proactive, data-backed talent interventions.
- Talent Management: Architect talent strategies, not just administer programs. Champion the ARDEvark framework, driving high-performance coaching, organizational design, and technological adoption to keep teams scaling efficiently.
- Agility: Thrive in the fast-paced fintech landscape. Lead with a growth mindset, navigating ambiguity and structural pivots with resilience, ensuring teams stay engaged and productive through constant, rapid change.
