Senior HR Business Partner, AI Experiences

This role will help drive organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce readiness, and change management across a variety of new and experienced engineering leaders within the Copilot Core, Experience, and Growth engineering teams. Success requires business acumen, data-driven judgment, and the ability to influence complex decisions related to organizational design, talent, succession, culture, and change management. The role partners closely with leaders to accelerate strategy execution, strengthen leadership team effectiveness, and build a high-performing, inclusive organization positioned to meet Microsoft's evolving AI ambitions.

Responsibilities
- Leader Coaching & Influence: Coach leaders on leadership effectiveness, team health, and high-stakes decision making, influencing across organizational boundaries and building deep credibility with both new and experienced leaders.
- Strategic Consulting: Combine insights, stakeholder relationships, clear storytelling, AI fluency, and change management to build alignment, influence decisions, and deliver sustainable organizational outcomes that enable agility, growth, and innovation.
- Organizational Diagnostics: Partner and consult with peer HR disciplines (e.g., Talent Management, Organization Development, HR Business Insights) on leveraging the systems model, talent management processes/programs and interpreting results & data to build recommendations.
- Talent & Capability Development: Drive initiatives that build future-ready capabilities, including succession planning, talent deployment, and leadership development.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use data, diagnostics, and cross-business insight to inform strategy, measure impact, and deliver equitable, scalable (where applicable) HR solutions that continuously improve how we work. Leverage AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and deliver repeatable solutions.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 4+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management)
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 7+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, performance management)
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience partnering with leadership teams on complex people and organizational challenges.
- Solid business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into actionable people solutions.
- Comfort in operating at pace independently with ambiguity, in a broad scope, and with limited direction.
Pay
This role has a typical base pay range of USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year across the U.S. A different range applies to specific work locations: USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
