Principal Accountabilities
- Assessment of airborne and/or surface contamination and radiation levels
- Establishing radiological controls for station activities
- Performing routine and special health physics tasks such as plant radiological surveillance and control, radiological surveys, dose assessment, instrument calibration, radiological records and report filing
- Aid in training of technicians/others
- Participate in writing, reviewing, and revising of health physics procedures as directed
- Function as a plant emergency plan team member at 90% and above
- Perform other tasks as required
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- Navy Training with ELT qualifications
- Placement as a percentage of the journey level wage rate based on experience

Pay
This is a bargaining unit position. The selected candidate's starting hourly rate will be based on qualifications in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.
