Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Collaborate with bankers, meet with their customers, and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
- Work with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
- Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, functioning well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Serve as the internal and external mortgage expert, maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. Employment is contingent on JPMorgan Chase's review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries. Additionally, this role requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon employment, you will be required to register or update your existing registration. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration and timely completion of annual renewal.
