About the role
Join our fun, high-energy team as a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending. Serve as your customers' chief point of contact throughout the life of the loan, leveraging your exceptional knowledge of home lending products while the Home Lending team supports you with demonstrated expertise. Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Collaborate with bankers to meet their customers and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
- Work with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
- Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories) and function effectively within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Build your role as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
Compliance & Licensing
This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and requires review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries. It is also subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators, which includes review of criminal conviction history, credit report, and NMLS information to assess financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with these requirements.
This role requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment, you will be required to register on NMLS or update your existing registration to reflect your employment with JPMorgan Chase. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after your start date and timely completion of annual renewal, is mandatory. Information obtained during registration or through NMLS notifications may impact your employment.
