Senior Highway/Bridge Project Manager

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a talented leader to join the Highway/Bridge Project Management Group in Pennsylvania to deliver solutions to clients and the region's travelers. The role involves responsibility for all aspects of project delivery including quality of project work performed, client service, utilization of staff, scope and fee development, contract management, invoicing, and project profitability for highway infrastructure projects. The final candidate could be located in Philadelphia or Harrisburg, PA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, directing, and coordinating activities of projects to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
• Establish work plans, fee estimates and coordinate multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of the project
• Work with the Project Management Principal and Discipline Group Leaders regarding assignment of project personnel
• Provide subconsultant management as well as staff mentoring and professional development recommendations
• Deliver projects that meet local (State, County or City) and AASHTO standards
• Maintain positive relationships with current and past clients
• Assist in development and implementation of local marketing and business development
• Research and track future project opportunities with Client Account Managers
• Initiate and review proposals while participating in interviews and presentations

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Substantial years of experience as a Project Manager on highway and/or bridge design projects
• Established local client and partner relationships and experience on PennDOT, PA Turnpike, or large City (i.e.- Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh) projects
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in PA
• Technical understanding of highway/roadway design standards including horizontal and vertical geometrics, drainage, utilities, traffic signals, signing, lighting, erosion and sediment control practices, stormwater management, cost estimating and specifications
• Working knowledge of CAD systems – MicroStation and InRoads
• Proof of performing quality control practices through all phases of design and plans production
• Able to do occasional local travel for project related tasks and meetings
• Previous experience leading teams

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $170,400.00 to $234,300.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
