Senior Healthcare QA Analyst – Facets Claims Testing
About the role
As a Senior Healthcare QA Analyst – Facets Claims Testing, you will ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of healthcare claims processing systems through comprehensive testing and validation activities. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, product owners, and client teams to support successful delivery of healthcare payer solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of Facets claims processing applications, including claims adjudication validation.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for functional, regression, parallel, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate healthcare benefits, fee schedules, billing configurations, and claims processing workflows.
- Conduct backend and data validation testing using SQL to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, track issues in ALM/JIRA, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of strong experience testing Facets Claims Processing applications.
- Healthcare Payer domain expertise with deep understanding of claims adjudication processes.
- Experience with parallel testing, claims validation, and defect management.
- Strong SQL skills for backend testing and data validation.
- Hands-on experience with ALM, JIRA, or similar defect tracking tools.
- Experience supporting UAT, regression testing, and production validation activities.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Dental Claims testing.
- Knowledge of dental benefits, fee schedules, and billing processes.
- Experience working in large-scale healthcare payer transformation or migration initiatives.
- Exposure to healthcare regulatory and compliance testing requirements.
- Experience collaborating directly with business users and client stakeholders.
Work Model

Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to $92,500, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
