We're partnering with a nationally recognized healthcare consulting firm to add a Senior Healthcare Provider Rate Setting Consultant to its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with state healthcare programs, health plans, and provider organizations on complex reimbursement, funding, and payment strategy initiatives. You'll help clients navigate evolving healthcare financing challenges through data-driven analysis and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead provider reimbursement and rate-setting engagements for government healthcare programs
• Analyze healthcare utilization, cost trends, and financial performance data
• Develop financial models and evaluate provider payment methodologies
• Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple engagements
• Present results and recommendations to executive leadership and healthcare decision-makers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across finance, policy, analytics, and reimbursement functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 10+ years of healthcare finance, reimbursement, provider payment, or rate-setting experience
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid managed care and healthcare payment models
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience presenting analyses to senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Consulting experience strongly preferred
