In collaboration with account management, professional services, support, product teams, and the AWS partner ecosystem, you will formulate and execute strategies to build mind-share and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform for Healthcare and Life Sciences customers.
• In partnership with account management, formulate and execute customer engagement strategies that drive meaningful cloud adoption outcomes.
• Build prototypes, proofs of concept, and demonstration assets that showcase AWS capabilities — particularly in AI/ML, Generative AI, and data/analytics — tailored to HCLS use cases.
• Educate customers on the AWS value proposition, participate in deep architectural discussions, and conduct enablement sessions that accelerate their path to production.
• Stay current on emerging AI/ML technologies and cloud-native patterns, translating that knowledge into actionable guidance, reference architectures, and customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customer organizations, enabling them to become cloud advocates.
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge across the AWS Solutions Architect community.

Your morning starts with a customer call — whiteboarding a cloud migration strategy for a global pharma company. Mid-morning, you're building a Generative AI prototype that shows how a life sciences customer could accelerate drug discovery. Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization

Pay & benefits

Base salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $228,600.00 USD annually (New York, NY). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
