Senior Healthcare Attorney - Law Firm
About the role
The Senior Healthcare Attorney will lead complex healthcare law matters including hospital/physician alignment issues, health care entity and physician practice mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations. They will also handle regulatory investigations and corporate compliance programs, and provide guidance on core areas such as Fraud and Abuse, Medicare/Medicaid anti-kickback, Stark, HIPAA, ACO, and health care reimbursement.
Responsibilities

Requirements
A portable and sustainable book of business is desired. Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in healthcare law, including:
- Experience with hospital/physician alignment issues
- Experience with health care entity and physician practice mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations
- Experience with regulatory investigations and corporate compliance programs
- Experience with core areas such as Fraud and Abuse, Medicare/Medicaid anti-kickback, Stark, HIPAA, ACO, and health care reimbursement
Qualifications
Candidates should have a JD degree from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in New York State, and possess excellent communication and analytical skills.
Skills
Strong legal research and writing skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected.

Pay
The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $191,800 – $250,000. Actual base salary will be based upon criteria such as experience, qualifications, and skill level.
