Senior Hardware Test Engineer
About the role
Aurora is seeking a HW Test Engineer to join our Product Integrity Team. This role requires a strong background in test equipment, multidisciplinary experience in ME/EE, and proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Own multiple test setups involved in validation waterfalls
- Participate in root cause and corrective action (RCCA) and debug efforts
- Support modules through environmental and vibration testing and validation as a test infrastructure owner
Requirements
- Working knowledge of test equipment, including thermal chambers, vibe tables, liquid chillers, power supplies, electronic loads, and DAQs
- Multidisciplinary experience across ME/EE; expertise in one, knowledgeable in the other
Qualifications
- Desirable Qualifications: Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Systems Engineering. Python experience (automating repetitive tasks, analyzing data, and working within larger testing frameworks). Experience conducting thermal vibe testing. Experience working in a Linux environment and with computer networking

Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $127,000 - $184,000 per year. Aurora offers an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits. Aurora operates in a hybrid work environment where employees are required to be in the office at least 3 days per week. Pay
The base salary range for this position is $127,000 - $184,000 per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions.
Schedule
Aurora operates in a hybrid work environment where employees are required to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
